VAT Statement and VAT Settlement in NAVISION

Dear Gents, 

Greetings

im trying to post the VAT transaction in VAT Payable account s i go to VAT statements and i go to VAT settlement

in VAT statements i do the following ,

type>>account totaling 

account totaling>>i select the VAT sales /purchase account

Gen. posting type>>i selecting sales/purchase

VAT Bus.>>i selecting VAT

amount type>> i selecting amount

then when i click preview its show the same balance in chart of account for VAT sales and VAT purchase , but when i go to VAT settlement and i start putting ending date and posting date and run it the report balance not match with VAT statement balances

so could you help me to solve this issue ,

Hello, 

Can someone please help me with this problem:

I have installed the navision 2013 on one of my staff laptop and when log in it gives me the following error: The server "net.tcp://nav2013svr:7046/dynamicsnav70service" is either unavailable or your connection has been lost

 

I have installed it on other laptop and it works 

The specification of the laptop is lenovo and windows 10 

 

Can anyone help please 

Error while previewing report

Hi every one,

i am trying to preview an report. on my system which is having windows 8.1 and it is working fine. but one of the system which is having windows 10, it is giving error 

consider the following screen shot:

generally it comes when i click on preview button. 

but the strange thing is this, it is coming randomly means some times reports generates successfully some time it is giving error.

can any body suggest me how can i solve this error.

How to disable timeout for a specific user

Dear all,

I would like to disable timeout for a specific windows client in NAV 2013R2. Whilst keeping the ClientServicesIdleClientTimeout in Instance for 10 mins, adding a line for the specific user's ClientUserSettings as <add key="ClientServicesIdleClientTimeout" value="MaxValue" /> did not work and the user's sessions still closes after 10 mins. Can you please guide how to disable timeout for a specific user? Thanks.

Master Data import to NAV BC

Hi Expert , 

I am trying to setup new company with "No Data" in NAV BC, its created successfully and i can import all master data .
But issue is that when try to update the Global Dimension 1 and 2 then except few master (G/L, Customer/Vendor/Items) tables all update successfully . Those table status always "Scheduled" and when I click on that status changes as "incomplete". 
If i select the "Return" function then it will goes to schedule mode and after few minute its become incomplete . 

Any solution for this issue ?

Anyone who knows hwo to export NAS TENANTS from one server to another server? and these servers are not in one local network.

Any suggestion will be warmly appreciated.

Thanks Erik again. Now, I just got it, the same Application database, in fact , I don't need to export tenants and import tenants, I just need to create a new nas with the same application database.

But I got a problem, when i installed all nav software and finished the configurateion, i got such a pb.

The Senrio of mine is : i need to do the load balancer, i create the same NAS  connect to the database .

Any suggestion will be warmly appreciated.

how does job queue work? in Server or in Database?

Hi Expert.

We created two new servers for load balance, But we have a job queue tenant, how does the job queue work? the job queue tenant if run both in the two servers? if it will be locked if update at the same time in the two servers?

I create purchase indent in NAV 13 R2  at the time of clicking Approve indent document I got a error message Like The  Email address " " is invalid .i debug the smtp mail code Unit also but I didn't get the solution plz help.

Item No cannot be found in the related table (Item)

The field no. of  table sales line contains a value(Item No), that cannot be found in the related table (Item)

at the time of creating Sale order I got this error on Sales Line No. Field, I Verified  the Item master  for the Related Item No. ,the Item No . is present in the item master table still  error  raising .

Job Queue not (always) works

I'll try to explain, because is not easy.

We have some Job Queue Entry in a customer Database. From a day in april, Job Queue is not working any more. There are not any error, and if the Job Queue Entry is marked as recurrent job, the mark is cleared but the job is not executed and remains in state "Ready", there are no log entry, no messages in my notifications... anything.

In Windows Event Viewer, I can see a security error (but no application error):

I have made a test. I created the NAV service user as a user in Dynamics NAV, and I created a Job Queue Entry as this user, and it works!!! But only works if the Job Queue Entry has the NAV service user as the user who created the task.

I think that NAV service user can't create a NAV session on behalf other users. The NAV Service is administrator in NAV Server, but not in domain.

Does NAV Service User need special domain permissions? I've read all NAV documentation and I can't see anything about this.

Any help will be appreciated!!!

Calculating Depreciation

Guys i am having problem calculating depreciation for a fixed asset in NAV 2017

Problem is After opening entry  as you can see depr has been calculated and then some additional Acquisition cost transaction has been added,after that we tried to run depreciation for January and February 2018 the batch job skips it without calculating any depreciation value but it calculated for march 2018.Refer the Ledger Entry Below.

Any suggestion.??
